Adapted from J.K. Rowling's best-selling novels, the films in the Harry Potter saga follow the adventures of the eponymous who discovers at the age of 11 that he is a wizard. Released between 2001 and 2011, the 8 films in the in the saga have all met with international success, and have notably revealed Daniel Radcliffe, the interpreter of Harry, Emma Watson as Hermione and Rupert Grint as Ron.
While the saga is made up of 7 books, 8 films have been adapted for the cinema (the last book was split in two). Each has a different storyline, but the main plot of the Harry Potter universe develops develops over the course the films.
